Golf Programming

The Club's PGA Golf Professional Carl Koons administrates programs for ladies, men, seniors, juniors and couples in order for our members and guests to make the most of Fredericksburg Country Club’s golf amenities. Lessons are available for all members regardless of skill level and can take place on either the practice areas or the golf course. All members are also invited and encouraged to participate in casual rounds with Carl Koons during the weekly open play gatherings, held on Wednesdays and Fridays.

“Fit 4 Golf” is the first golf fitness class in a series that Chrissy Griffiths currently offers at FCC. Other Golf Fitness classes in this series include: “Golf Strength”, “Golf Speed”, and “Golf Power”.

“Fit 4 Golf” is all about training our bodies to move better specifically for the golf swing with a major focus on building and reinforcing a strong foundation of mobile and stable joints. This is the foundation on which we will build proper strength, speed and power in the future. Using functional movements of the golf swing, exercises, and stretches; we will increase muscular flexibility, strength, endurance, and balance specifically to help you swing the golf club with greater ease and less pain and fatigue.
